    NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

    Notice is hereby given that the Bellingham Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, January 17, 2008, 7:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 210 Lottie Street, for the purpose of considering the following:

    PUBLIC HEARING:

    1. ZON2007-00010: A Public Hearing to consider adoption of the Old Town Sub-Area Plan and Development Standards to implement new zoning for Areas 10, 10A, 11 and a portion of 14 of the Lettered Streets Neighborhood; as well as, Areas 6, and portions of 10 and 14 of the CBD Neighborhood. The subject property is generally bound by Roeder Avenue, G, Bancroft, D, Dupont, Prospect, Bay and Chestnut Streets.

    A summary of changes to the proposal will be available at the Planning Department, City Hall, on January 10, 2007.     FINAL ACTION:

    The Planning Commission held a public hearing on August 2, 2007 for case # ZON2007-00008. A final recommendation to City Council will be made on January 17, 2008 on the following proposal:

    1. ZON2007-00008: A request by the Lettered Streets Neighborhood Association to rezone subareas 3 and 9 from Residential Multi to Residential Single; to revise the boundaries of areas 3, 8, 9, and 14; and to revise development regulations in order to “grandfather” nonconforming uses in area 3 and 9.
