The City of Bellingham Hearing Examiner will hold a public hearing to take testimony on the following proposals:
SUB2013-00002 / SEP2013-00003 / VAR2013-00002 / CAP2013-00002
: Consideration of a preliminary cluster plat consisting of 20 single-family detached lots, including retention of the existing residence, known as the Halice Court Plat. The proposed lots would be served by a newly dedicated right of way generally in the same location as the existing driveway and would be extended to provide abutment to the two adjacent parcels. Variances from setbacks, street standards and utility abutment are proposed. Impacts to City-regulated onsite wetlands are proposed. Mitigation will be provided pursuant to BMC 16.55. The proposal is located at 629 E. Bakerview Road (lengthy legal). Residential-Single, Planned Land Use Designation. William "Boo" Maris, contact person; Hank and Alice Wiebe, owners/applicants. You may comment on the proposal by sending written comments to the Planning Department, City Hall, 210 Lottie Street, Bellingham, WA 98225. All written comments should be received during office hours before the hearing, or you may submit them at the hearing if you include an additional copy for the recording secretary. You may also request a copy of the Hearing Examiner’s decision and your appeal rights.
